Role Overview
As a Java Developer at Fidah company, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features and maintain our codebase. Your knowledge and expertise will contribute to our ongoing efforts to push the envelope in technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Collaborate with the team to design and launch new features.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in Java development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc.)
- Experience in the Spring Framework.
- Experience with test-driven development.
Nice to Have
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).
- Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
